September 1st 2009 A very Successful day was enjoyed by 96 members and visitors to play for the Annual Gwen Stewart Shield. The game was followed by afternoon tea and the presentation. Winners of the shield were Merimbula Club ladies Glenda Saville, Alison Hof, Julie Smith and skip Irene Olver. Congratulations girls. Runners Up were Lois sinclair, Barbara Clough Rae Stove and Sue Pope(skip). Club Triples. A presentation was made to the Winners of this event. Val Edwards (skip), Claire Pynenburg and Shirley Sunderland. Runners Up were Pam Reynolds(skip), Margaret Barr and Dathne Nagle.
