At afternoon tea we farewelled Judy Pendrich who has been a valued member of our club for many years.

Judy was on the Tura beach Board as Bowls Director in 1995. She was District Treasurer for eight years then District Secretary for many more and as an Umpire she was a member and recorder for the District Umpires Panel. Judy is a very good bowler and has won many trophies over the years among them the Val Butterworth Trophy and the Faye Sproates Shield.

We all wish Judy and Alan the very best for their retirement in Queensland.
