With the return of fine weather round two of the 2010 pennant series was completed with our grades 3, 5 and 7 playing at home and grade 4 travelling down the hill to Merimbula
The results were:- Grade 3, Tura Beach 5 points 73 shots ,defeated Tathra (2) 1 points 50 shots. Kel Duncombe, Pat Quigley, Ken Edwards and Graham Burton lost 17/24. David Lewis, Lance Lamond, Mike Reynolds and Campbell Connal won 26/13. Les Firth, Vic Finlay, Eric Maddern and Russell Cook won 30/13.

In first round matches Neil Clough's team lost 17/24, Lance Lamond's team won 26/10, Jack Findlay's team won 23/19, Peter Evans's team lost 24/28, Pat Quigley's team lost 24/28, Graham Burton's team won 24/15, Eric Maddern's team won 38/10 and in an all Tura match Bruce Jeffries's team defeated Ross Orsborn's team 26/22. Roger Hayes's and Campbell Connal's teams received first round byes.
Rounds 2 and 3 will be played on Saturday, February 27.
Club Bowls The long held over semi final of the Club Veteran Singles went to David Lewis defeating Roger Hayes. The final between David and Eric Maddern is set down for Thursday, February 25.
Social Bowls Wednesday February17 This months IGA day went to Bob Hart, Stewart Rothacker and Ron Stevens on 2+9 from Don Pope, Bill Daniels and Pat Quigley runners up on 2+8. The single game winners were Kel Duncombe, Eric Maddern and Gerd Jacobsen with 1+7. Friday February 19 The Nominated Pairs saw June and John Jesina return to the winning list with 2+20. Runners up with 2+13 were Claire and Hans Pynenburg and the single game winners were Tony Sawkins and Gary Telford with 1+13.
