Club Bowls

Pennant Practice

Saturday December 12 marked the first step towards the forming of the 2010 pennant sides.

The match committee did a great job in organising the teams with all bowlers available being involved in at least one match. A good standard of bowling was the order of the day with the higher rated teams being given a hard time by their opponents.   

The final teams practice session for the year will be held next Sunday, December 20 starting at 12.30. Teams selected are on the board and all available players will be given a chance to participate in the matches. Please inform the Match Committee if you are unavailable. 

Both greens will be closed from Monday, December 21 until Tuesday, January 5, 2010 with the Men’s Social Bowls returning Wednesday, January 6.

Social Bowls

Wednesday December 9

Kevin Cox, C Sunderland, Kel Duncombe and Don Fergusson were the clear winners with 24 points with Herb Konkel, Royce Lovett, Rob Pearsall and Terry Jackson runners up with 20 points. 

Friday December 11

The Nominated Pairs winners were Val Edwards and Graham Burton with 2+14.Claire and Hans Pynenburg the single game winners with 1+7.
