TURA BEACH MENS BOWLS REPORT No 378

Club Bowls

Due to Tura Beach members participating in Merimbula’s Mixed Triples event over Saturday, Sunday and Monday the second round matches of the Club Mixed Pairs will be played next Saturday, November 7.

Four teams and at least two single entries from Tura made up a significant portion of the total of sixteen teams competing in the event, maintaining our clubs strong support for events staged by the other clubs in the district.

After three rounds Don and Sue Pope and Campbell Connal were equal leaders winning all their matches, with Les Firth, Graham Burton and Russell Cook well placed with two wins.

The draw for the Club Fours is on the board with the first round to be played on Sunday, November 8 commencing at 12.30.
