Greg Thompson and Stan EbbageOn Saturday the 10th July, 2010 on a fine and cold day at Tura Beach Golf Club the event was Single Stableford and the trophy was donated by Jim Brabazon.  The winning scores were very close with most of the division places having been decided by one shot or a count back.  Division 1 player Stan Ebbage was the overall winner with 41 stableford points C/B.  Division 2 winner was S Warner with 41 points.  Division 3 winner was Bob Humphreys with 41 points.  Division 1 Runner up was Colin Slade 41 points C/B.  Division 2 runner up was Alek Werchanowski with 40 point C/B.  Division 3 runner up was Bob Dobson with 40 points C/B.  3rd place getters were; Division 1 Rob Ede 41 points, Division 2 John Humphreys 40 points.  Division 3 Noel McParland 40 points. Simon Waller had the only Eagle of the day and that was on the par 5 fourth hole.  There were 105 players and the ball winners went to 34 points on a countback.

On Tuesday the 6th July 2010 the event was Single Par.  79 golfers played on a cool day; the overall winner was Division 2 player Chris Kunz who had +9.  The Division 1 winner was Brad Foster with +7 C/B.  The Division 3 winner was Michael Johnson with +4, Runners up were; Division 1 David Velicki +7.  Division 2 Noel Holt +4.  Division 3 Brian McKernan +3 C/B.  3rd place getters were; Division 1 Murray Dakin +6.  Division 2 Bob MacKay +3.  Division 3 Peter Bridle +3.  The Ball winners went to square.

On Thursday the 8st July 2010 the 9 hole competition saw G Thomas (visitor) the winner with 22 stableford points with Richard Hooper with 21 points the runner-up.  The Ball winners went to 16 on a countback.

On Sunday the 11th July the game was Four Ball Stableford, Best 12 Ladies & Best 12 Men.  From a Field of 16 golfers Dee Douglas and Edna Beech were the winners with a score of 60 points.  Ball winners went to 53 points.

Nearest the pin on the 3rd was Cathy Craig.  Dennis Valentine had a "hole in one" on the 9th hole, well done Dennis.
