On Saturday the 3rd July, 2010 on a fine and cold and windy day at Tura Beach Golf Club the event was the Men's Monthly Medal. Most players found the going tough in the cold and windy conditions.  With a fine score of 66 net John Taylor was the overall winner for this month's medal.  From this week, winners A, B, & C Grade will be replaced with winners Divisions 1, 2, & 3, this will allow the equal distribution of prizes.  Division 1 winner was Minh Nguyen 70 nett.  Division 2 winner was Alan Rawlinson with 67 nett.  Division 1 Runner up was Colin Slade 72 nett (Colin also won the play off for last month's medal).  Division 2 runner up was Greg Thompson 70 nett C/B.  Division 3 runner up was Col Napier with 68 nett.  3rd place getters were; Division 1 Peter Taylor 72 nett C/B, Division 2 Brian Rennie 70 nett C/B and Division 3 Bob MacKay 74 nett C/B.  4th place getters were Division 1 David Velicki, Division 2 John Humphreys and Division 3 Ted Smith.  There were 123 players and the ball winners went to 78 nett on a countback.

On Tuesday the 29th June 2010 the event was Single Stableford.  90 golfers played on a cold and cloudy day, most found the going tough as the scores reflected with only the winner coming in under the ACR of 38 points.  The overall winner was A Grade player John Muir who had 41 points.  The B Grade winner was Don W Sinclair with 36 points.  The C Grade winner was Ian MacNicol with 38 points, Runners up were; A Grade Graham Brown 38 points.  Rob Van Deyk 35 points C/B.  John Humphreys 37 points C/B.  The Ball winners went to 33 points.

On Thursday the 1st July 2010 the 9 hole competition saw Charles Bradley the winner with 23 stableford points with John Biggs with 22 points the runner-up.  Nearest the pins were Ted Smith on the 3rd and Bob MacKay on the 9th.  The Ball winners went to 18 on a countback.
