On Saturday the 12th June, 2010 on a cold and windy day at Tura Beach Golf Club most players found the going tough as the scores reflected.  The event was men's single stableford.  The winner was Michael Aucote a visitor from Gunghalin Lakes, Michael playing off 14 had a nett score of 40 points.  A Grade winner was Rob Staite with 36 points.  Rob also had a "hole in one", on the 9th hole.  C Grade winner was Ron Henkel with 38 points.  Runners up were; A Grade Murray Dakin 35 points, B Grade Terry Souter 37 points and C Grade Bob Mackay 36 points c/b. 3rd place getters were; A Grade Ellis Stevens 33 points. B Grade Greg Thompson 36 points c/b. C Grade John Hobday 36 points c/b. There were 100 players and the ball winners went to 32 points on a countback.

On Tuesday the 8th June 2010.  There were 66 players in the Single Stableford golf competition.  On a fine winter's day with no wind the overall winner was John Muir who had 40 points c/b.  The B Grade winner was Dennis Valentine with 39 points c/b.  C Grade was Reg Hart with 38 points c/b.  Runners up were, A Grade Bill Eaton 40 points, B Grade Greg Lasker 39 points c/b and C Grade Col Napier 38 points c/b.  Ball winners went to 36 points.

On Thursday the 10th June the 9 hole competition saw Peter Hamer the winner with 22 stableford points with Charles Bradley with 20 points the runner-up.  Nearest the pins were Graham Stevens on the 3rd and Peter Hamer on the 9th.  The Ball winners went to 18 on a countback.

On Sunday the 13th June was the 2 Person Ambrose Aggregate.  From a Field of 40 golfers Greg & Ruth Thompson and Greg & Jenny Lasker were the winners with a score of 131½.  The runners up were Gary Cook, Mia Rawlins Cook, Alan Frances and Leanne Munt with 133¼.  Ball winners went to 140¾ on a countback.

Nearest the pin on the 3rd was Kevin Nowland (men's) Mia Rawlins Cook (ladies).
