Canadian Foursomes

It was a fine and sunny day at Tura Beach Golf Club for the Canadian Foursomes.  This game is a two man team event.  After selecting the best drive, each golfer then plays alternative shots until the ball is putted out.  A game designed to test the best of friendships.

From a Field of 70 player's the winners on the day were monthly Medal winner John Hobday and playing partner Ted Boyd, with a fine net score of 68¾.  Second were Mike Channon and Bernie Russell with a net score of 70³/₈.  Third were John Humphreys and Kevin Nowland with nett 70⁵/₈ on a countback.  Balls went to 74⁷/₈.
