Competition:  Stableford - Tura Beach v Eden Challenge

A wonderful colourful day today for the first round of the Tura v Eden Challenge.  The first tee and the Club’s Banksia Room were beautifully decorated by Andrea and Richard from The Party Shop in Merimbula.  Tura Beach won the first round, with the return to be played in September at Eden.

The winner of the February Monthly Medal was decided on a countback after a playoff was again a draw.  Lynda Plummer was awarded the medal.

Division 1 (0-22) Winner:  Edna Beech (19) 36 point;  Runner-up:  Jan Dobson (22) 35 points

Division 2 (23-30) Winner:  Bev Macnab (28) 34 pts c/b;  Runner-up:  Loris Sinclair (23) 34 pts

Division 3 (31-45) Winner:  Tryntje Plevey (43) 33 pts c/b;  Runner-up:  Betty Richards (31) 33 pts

NTPs:  3rd (Santa Fe Restaurant) Dee Bell; 2nd shot on the 5th, handicap 27-45 (Aquablu ball) Tryntje Plevey; 9th (Wharf  Restaurant) Barbara Rees; 13th (Kangarutha Nursery) Lyn Bothamly; 2nd shot on the 17th, handicap 0-26 (Tura Beach Pharmacy ball) Jill Humphreys

There were 58 players.  Balls went to 29 pts.

There was no Ladies' competition on Saturday.
